Duties of Dean of Students: (posted 07-09-19)
The Cherry Hill Seminary Dean of Students provides support and assistance in all matters involving students, including the following:
∙ Advise students regarding their vocational and educational objectives;
∙ Respond promptly to student information inquiries.
∙ Serve on Admissions Committee;
∙ Receive and respond to student concerns and complaints;
∙ Interface with staff and faculty regarding programs and administration;
∙ Develop and implement student policies and procedures;
∙ Manage student discipline;
∙ Oversee student records (maintained by office);
Time: Approximately four-eight hours a week, flex-time.
Minimum Qualifications: Terminal degree from an accredited institution; support for core values of Cherry Hill Seminary and Pagan-centered ministry; comfort with Moodle Classroom and online communications technology or willingness to learn via tutorial offered by CHS; access to both computer and telephone, previous teaching experience preferred.
Effective Date: May begin immediately upon approval for one year with possible renewal.
Compensation: Free tuition each semester in one class offered at Cherry Hill Seminary and the knowledge that you are helping to build a lasting institution that reflects your goals and values. Unfortunately, this is all that can be offered at the current time.
