Witchcraft in Salem: Then and Now

A study of the Salem Witch Trials focusing on gaining an in depth knowledge of the actual events of 1692, the role of women in that era, cultural diversity in Salem, and an exploration of the magic that actually may have occurred at the time. We will also explore modern Salem, including the naming of Laurie Cabot as the Witch of Salem and her Grimoire, the current Pagan scene, and the impact of commercialism in Salem.
